Meet Ric Bradshaw

Sheriff Ric Bradshaw has extensive knowledge and training in all aspects of law enforcement, with a particular emphasis on mental health, homeland security, field operations, and community-based policing. As head of Palm Beach County’s largest law enforcement agency, Sheriff Bradshaw oversees six departments, 4,300 employees, and roughly 1,500 volunteers.

Sheriff Bradshaw began his career in law enforcement as a member of the West Palm Beach Police Department, where he rose through the ranks before being appointed Chief of Police.

As Sheriff, Ric Bradshaw has prioritized going after violent criminal and gangs, has allocated additional funding for mental health support, and invested millions in new technology, including body cameras. The Palm Beach County Sheriff’s office is the county’s largest provider of mental health services.
